Background

An Art Director & Designer originally from the corn fields of Illinois I currently reside in Portland, Oregon with my family. I graduated from Illinois State University double majoring in Graphic Design and Drawing. Ever since I’ve been honing the craft of visual communication while hustling gigs in Chicago, Seattle, and Portland. Over the years my opinion on design has focused less on style and more towards who the client is and how to best communicate a message. What communicates to me may not be what communicates best for the target audience. The key to being a strong visual communicator is 3 fold: know the client(brand), know the message, and know the audience, then create accordingly.

The great Louis Sullivan proclaimed FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION, and that is the truth of it.
